Welcome to Sunnyside Label, we’re so glad you’re here!

As a family with our first child and a slightly unconventional lifestyle, we wanted to create a brand with products that reflect not only something fun and exciting but also our values while living back-to-back summers. And that is how Sunnyside Label was born.

Cam; a professional cricketer, lover of coffee, motor racing and a sweaty gym session, follows the sun all year round in pursuit of his childhood dream of being an athlete. 

Cam married Isabelle, aka the BOSS, 10 years in the world of neuromuscular therapy, lover of travelling, long days at the beach, an iced caramel latte & walks with the gals.

Together we had our son George, a cheeky, smiley, fast paced, outdoor loving boy & our star fashion icon.

Walking George home from the supermarket one hot, sunny day, Isabelle had a lightbulb moment – cool, colourful sun caps for kids with the full protection. Excited, she called Cam who was on his way home from cricket training, told him her idea and he responded, ‘Epic but I want one too’. We got to work right away; brainstorming colourways, size options, styles and it didn’t take long before we decided on the name ‘Sunnyside Label’. This would represent living in the sun all year round, loving our eggs sunny side up and always try to view life on the Sunnyside.

It was important to us that UPF50 protection was the standard for our Caps. We know how harsh the UV rays are, particularly here in NZ and not all materials are created equal in protecting you from the sun. Alongside safety, we wanted our brand to begin reflecting all things happy and bright. With George being such a go getter, visibility became key for us hence our bold colourways in our first drop – Summer Sorbet. Who doesn’t love a splash of flare on the hat rack? We know we do!

Our mission is to empower all to embrace the great outdoors with confidence and stand out in the crowd, all while staying fully protected from the sun's harsh rays. With our sun caps, it's not just about style—it's about the freedom to enjoy life outside, knowing you're covered in every way.

With so many ideas in the pipeline, we can’t wait to watch the Sunnyside community grow and hope everyone loves the caps as much as we do.
